DJ Zax is a DJ and producer currently based in Los Angeles.
In his early career he spun records live on air at San Francisco’s Energy 92.7 FM and at some of the city’s most renowned parties and clubs, including Bootie, The End Up, Club Dragon, Cockblock, Big Top, Booty Call Wednesdays, The Bar on Castro, Trigger, The Café and more.
Zax has been part of the vibrant mash-up scene since 2003. He has created well-known mashups and has regularly charted on Club Bootie’s monthly top-10 lists, the go-to place for discovering the best new mashups in the world. In 2009, Zax’s creation Believe in Ghosts (Cher vs. Deadmau5) received radio airplay on San Francisco’s Energy 92.7 FM.
In 2008, his mix of Touch My Body by Mariah Carey (featuring Fatman Scoop) became a top choice of club DJs and radio jocks alike, receiving spins on Q102 radio in Philadelphia and WiLD 94.9 in San Francisco. It was also released on a special promotional remix vinyl titled, Best of Touch My Body Remixes.
His 2005 mashup of Gwen Stefani’s Hollaback Girl with Cameo’s funk classic Word Up was featured on Club Bootie’s Top 10 list, USA Today’s Pop Culture Blog called it a “sweet find,” and Sterogum touted it as “perfect, brilliant, and infectious.”

The download goes to a stream, I really want to be able to save the file to the pc and burn to disc… Am I doing something wrong here?
