Jackpot! Swedish indie-pop princess, Robyn has three albums of new material out this year. Body Talk Pt. 1 is due out June 15th and the lead single is Dancing On My Own. There are already some fantastic remixes by Chew Fu and Rex The Dog, but I love the production of the original version so I re-worked it to be more club friendly, boosting the tempo and adding some heavier beats.
The Scissor Sisters whet our appetite for their upcoming album, Night Work with this fantastic Stuart Price-produced teaser track. There’s even a Vincent Price Thriller-Esque moment with an epic voice over by Sir Ian McKellen. I made this re-work for the clubs, picking up the tempo and beefing up the track with some new drums and synths. Don’t sleep on this one!

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a huge fan of Imogen Heap. I’ve been following her vBlogs and tweets for the past two years while she’s been working on her new album, Ellipse, which is scheduled to be released 25 August here in the states. When the lead single, “First Train Home” was released, I got busy to work on this remix using some Stonebridge beats.
Please be sure to support Immi. Buy the single “First Train Home” and pre-order Ellipse at the links below.
A friend challenged me to turn Chromeo’s brief “Mommas Boy” acapella into a house stomper. I laid it over Illicit’s remix of Madison Avenue’s “Who the Hell Are You,” did some effects with the vocals — and here’s what came out. Now start stompin’!
